Mindful Mama’s Meetup

Are you a Stay at home mom? Do you home-school? Or do you just want to meet up with other moms/babies who are like-minded?
Every other Thursday we will have some great moms coming together meet up and have some fun! Organizers will have some fun activities planned for the kids, and the moms can enjoy each other’s company at the same time!
Natural BirthWorks (our sister site is a holistic community and we encourage families who are like-minded to join together and enjoy each other!

Breastfeeding Support Group

Our mother-led groups are designed to give moms a supportive environment for everything related to breastfeeding. We have moms who attend that are still pregnant, or with older breastfeeding children. We are a non-judgmental group and are there to solely support, educate, and help with the breastfeeding needs of moms in our community.

The location is usually a residence or a park. We will announce location each month on our Facebook page.

When: Typically the 3rd Wednesday of every month 9-11am. Call to confirm.

Anyone who is interested in breastfeeding or who is nursing their little one
is welcome!

Breastfeeding 101

The 2nd Wednesday of every month we host a breastfeeding class taught by Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant Sandra Lobaina.
Topics covered:

  • What are the advantages of breastfeeding
  • How to prepare for breastfeeding
  • Getting started the right way
  • Positions, correct latch, and the first 6 weeks

Pumping 101

Directly following the Breastfeeding 101 is a class for woman going back to work and need help preparing breast milk.

Topics include:

  • How to choose the right pump for you
  • What to know before you purchase
  • When to start pumping to go back to work
  • How to pump, how to store milk, how to prepare, and thaw out breast milk
  • How to figure out a schedule right for you

Childbirth Preparation Classes
